My 8-year-old Golden Retriever wasn't drinking enough water and the vet mentioned it at his checkup. She suggested trying a fountain since dogs prefer moving water. I figured it was worth a shot.

Honestly wasn't expecting much but Max took to it right away. He drinks from it multiple times a day now instead of just once or twice. I fill it up maybe once a week? It holds a good amount of water.

The stainless steel is nice because it doesn't get that plastic-y taste that bothers some dogs. And it's easy to clean - just pop it in the dishwasher when needed.

My only complaint is that the filters are a bit pricey to replace, but I guess that's normal for these things. Overall though, it's doing what it's supposed to do and my dog seems happier and more hydrated.

Would definitely recommend if your vet says your dog needs to drink more water.

My dog Bruno is... let's say he's not missing any meals lol. He's about 85 pounds and drinks a ton of water. I was filling his bowl like 4 times a day and it was getting annoying.Got this fountain and wow, what a difference. He loves drinking from it and I only have to refill it every few days now. The water flow is gentle enough that he doesn't get his face soaked (which he hates) but strong enough to keep his interest.It's been about 6 months and still working great. Super quiet too - I was worried it would be noisy but you can barely hear it running.Setup was easy enough though the instructions could be clearer. I had to kind of figure out the filter placement on my own but once I got it, no issues.My only regret is not getting this sooner. Would've saved me a lot of trips to the water bowl with the measuring cup!

Okay so I'll be honest - I was skeptical about spending this much on a "fancy water bowl" but my dogs were being super picky about drinking water and I was getting worried.

I tried those cheap plastic ones from the pet store first (like $30) and they were honestly gross. The motor died on one after like 6 weeks, and the other one got this weird slimy film no matter how much I cleaned it. My dogs stopped using them pretty quick.

This one though? It's been going strong for about 10 months now. My dogs actually drink from it regularly, which is huge because they used to just wait for me to turn on the bathroom faucet. The water stays clean way longer and it's not loud at all - I was worried about that since it's in the kitchen.

Assembly was pretty straightforward, though I did have to watch a YouTube video for one part. The filters last a decent amount of time and aren't too expensive to replace.

Is it worth the extra money? Yeah, I think so. My dogs are drinking more water and I'm not constantly cleaning gross fountains or worrying about them getting dehydrated.
